Charisma shouldn't be hard work. 

Charisma is your natural ability to create and receive emotional movement in people as you act, speak, and listen.  The problem is that most people try to create an impact on people through effort and grandiosity.

With daily practice, you'll feel safe and connected to yourself, the environment, and others, getting out of your head and into your body, so you can express in a way that's both congruent and impactful.

  • Discern for beneficial relationships and resources automatically.

    People have a visceral response to the things they want and don’t want.  It’s the same thing that makes you gravitate towards good foods and pleasurable experiences.  You'll get an intuitive sense of what and who is right for you to meet your own needs automatically.

How will these exercises actually make me feel better?

Most of the thoughts and fears that you experience are actually rooted in your bodily experience, not your thoughts.  Even if you can rationalize your way into realizing that people aren't actually judging you, you might find that self-conscious thoughts keep popping up like weeds.

 

This course addresses many of the fundamental perceptive issues in your body.  For example...

 

If your body isn't perceiving the environment (exteroception), it might feel as if there are threats in the environment, causing you to feel like you're being judged.

 

If your body isn't perceiving its internal state (interoception), it might feel like it doesn't know what it wants.

 

If your body isn't perceiving its balance and coordination (proprioception), it might feel like it takes a lot of effort to act towards your goals.

 

This course gets your body more finely attuned to reality so relationships aren't a distorted, negative experience.

How is this different from other traditional forms of guided meditation?

There are many great meditative techniques and schools of thought, some of which we will utilize throughout this course.  The problem is, many techniques only cover a part of the problem, so most people won't find a specific technique useful.  Even worse, you might find that they overdevelop mental focus, getting you stuck in your head even more, more isolated from connection.

This course covers all the bases to give you a strong foundation in your sensory experience, transitioning into clearly knowing what you want (intention) and a more effortless path of action.

How does this fit in with the rest of my personal practice?

Accurate perception is the foundation for everything else.  Most people don't even pick up on the opportunities that exist in their environment.  Most men don't recognize all the women who are interested in them.

 

You won't truly know what you want until you can feel the discernment in your body as readily as your taste for delicious food.

 

You won't take effective action until you can feel your body move on its own toward its goal.

 

You won't reflect accurately if you aren't picking up on all the sensory information available to you, without distorting it into self-judgments.
